Welcome to 2203 (Hatfield & de Havilland) Squadron Website

We are a youth organisation that offers young people age 12-20 a truly unique & dynamic experience.

Where else can you have the opportunity to fly & control an aircraft one week and then spend another at an active RAF base?

As part of the ATC, 2203 Squadron is an award winning Squadron that partakes in a number of dynamic activities. Not only do we fly, but we also participate in several sports from Football to Hockey. Athletics to Swimming and more, cadets undertake valuable First Aid Training and we offer the opportunity to be part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.

Cadets also have the chance to be professionally trained in skills including shooting, ceremonial duties and drill disciplines. There are many other activities that cadets can benefit from.

Our core ethos is based on 3 main factors:

  1. To promote & encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.
  2. To provide training which will be useful both in the services and in civil life.
  3. To foster the spirit of adventure & to develop the qualities of leadership & good citizenship.

In addition to the core ethos, we also ensure that...

Cadets enjoy all opportunities and experiences!
